About the DFIR SIG

The Denver ISSA Chapter would like to announce the creation of a new Special Interest Group; "Digital Forensics and Incident Response". Due to the high demand for requests and an ever increase in threat actors, we feel it is our duty to include this new SIG topic. As soon as COVID-19 restrictions are relaxed allowing 50 people to congregate, we will resume our programs. We will be discussing the following topics:

- Incident Management 101 Basics by Doug Brush (May 12 webinar)

- Incident Response with NIST CSF, by PwC

- Red and Blue Teaming

- The Courtroom Experience

Our SIG's are a new experience. All of the DFIR SIG's will be held in downtown Denver for a 1.5 hour event. These events are designed to be collaborative, thought provoking, and relevant to our community. By holding table-top exercises, role-playing activities, and brainstorming sessions, we hope that our community will grow in knowledge and capabilities around this ever important topic.
